FASMO continued to facilitate radio sessions to educate wide population in issues related to health and wellbeing. As part of the 2026 field practical training programme for undergraduate students from Sokoine University of Agriculture, students delivered health and nutrition education to the wider community, covering topics such as family planning, maternal and child health, the effects of energy drinks, tuberculosis and nutrition, common nutrition myths, food safety and hygiene, and strategies for preventing overweight and obesity. The radio platform gave students the opportunity to sharpen their communication skills and their ability to deliver clear, impactful health messages to a broad audience, while directly contributing to community awareness and education.
